Bashundhara City not to open before Eid

Bashundhara City, one of the most popular shopping malls of the country, is not reopening before the Eid-ul-Fitr.

“We’ve taken the decision to stop the spread of the novel coronavirus. Bashundhara City would not reopen before Eid,” said the shop owners' association president MA Hannan Azad.

The government has decided to allow keeping shops and shopping malls open from 10 May maintaining health guidelines considering Ramadan and Eid-ul-Fitr.

The decision has drawn a flak on social media.
