On the occasion of the month of Ramadan, the BSTI surveillance team collected a total of 521 product samples of different brands from various markets across the country and examined those in two phases.

In the first phase, the BSTI team confirmed 17 products as ‘substandard goods’ examining 251 samples out of total 521 collected in the last two months.

The team in the second phase found 43 other products as ‘substandard ones’ testing the remaining 270 samples.
