BRAC Bank supports UCEP

BRAC Bank Limited has partnered to support UCEP Institute of Science and Technology (UIST) that provides technical education at affordable cost, said a news release.

The bank’s contribution will be used to establish an e-library for the students of the polytechnic institute at Mirpur, Dhaka.

Managing director and CEO of BRAC Bank Selim RF Hussain handed over the contribution to chairperson of UCEP board of governors AQ Siddiqui at a function at BRAC Bank head office. Chief executive officer Zaki Hasan UCEP and senior officials were present.

UIST Dhaka is the first polytechnic institute of UCEP Bangladesh, which provides quality higher technical education to the youth of the country.

Started in 2015, UIST currently provides diploma degree in mechanical, civil and electrical technology.
