Edison Group launches smartphone helio S25

Edison Group has come up with helio S25 smartphone in Bangladesh market.

The handset will be available in Bangladesh from mid-March this year, said a press release.

An attractive back-pack is offered with every purchase of a helio S25 handset.

A buyer can avail a total of 300 minute on-net and 100 minute off-net talk time and 15GB data (for first 3 months, per month 5GB) with Robi with a helio S25. 

The biggest highlight of the helio S25 is its dual rear cameras - 13-megapixel alongside a 5-megapixel secondary rear camera, which uses camera sensors from Sony and Samsung respectively.

The dual rear cameras on the S25 will let users adjust the focus and depth of field blur on clicked pictures. The handset also packs dual-tone LED flash. The S25 also packs a 13-megapixel front camera with helio’sselfie flash feature. It comes with self-timer and seven beauty effects to enhance selfies.

The metal-clad dual-SIM helio S25 sports fingerprint scanner at the front. The handset comes with several secure features such as application password feature that lock apps and documents with fingerprint or password lock. The phone also offers private space that will let users save private pictures, texts, call history, and documents among others separately which can be protected with fingerprint.

Split screen assists our customers to split the screen in two, doubling your experience of multitasking. Customer can enjoy video/YouTube and Facebook simultaneously now through the split screen.

The helio S25 bears a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) display with 2.5D curved glass. The smartphone is powered by 1.95GHz octa-core processor coupled with 4GB of RAM. It packs 64GB of inbuilt storage and supports expandable storage via microSD card (up to 128GB) in a hybrid dual-SIM configuration. It runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Amigo OS 3.5.0. The handset measures 154.2x76.4x7.4mm and weighs around 168 grams. Connectivity options include 4G with 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and Micro-USB. The Helio S25 is backed by a 3000mAh battery.

Edison Group chairman Aminur Rashid unveiled the helio S25 in a launching ceremony in the city.

The helio S25 costs Tk 21,990.
