Renaissance Hotels debuts in Dhaka

Renaissance Hotels, a hotel brand known around the world for helping business travellers to discover unexpected cultural experiences, has recently been launched its first hotel in Bangladesh.

The Renaissance Gulshan Hotel in Dhaka began its journey with a grand opening programme on Wednesday evening, says a press release.

Chaired by HBM Iqbal, former member of parliament and chairman of Premier Hotel Management Company Ltd and Premier Group, the launching programme was graced by finance minister AHM Mustafa Kamal as the chief guest.

The finance minister along with other guests inaugurated the hotel by cutting a ribbon and a cake, according to the press statement.

Home minister Asaduzzaman Khan, private industry and investment adviser to the prime minister Salman F Rahman, US ambassador to Bangladesh Earl Robert Miller, president of Marriot International Rajiv Menon, vice chairman of Premier Hotel Management Company Ltd and Premier Group Momtaz Begum, among others, were present at the programme as special guests.

At the launching programme, an audiovisual clip of the hotel was screened for the guests. The launching programme came to an end with the performance of popular band Chirkutt.

The hotel authorities held a press conference to highlight the details of the Renaissance Gulshan Hotel.
