Syngenta Bangladesh gets new MD

AMM Golam Towhid has been appointed as managing director of Syngenta Bangladesh Limited.

Towhid joined Syngenta as head of marketing in May 2015.

He started his career at telecom company GrameenPhone and later joined British American Tobacco Bangladesh as territory officer. He has been in the field of sales, trade marketing and distribution for the last 18 years.

Towhid holds a Master of Science degree in Geography and Environment from Dhaka University and a Master of Business Administration from North South University, majoring in Marketing.
