IBFB president mourns death of it ex-president Omar Shafayet Kausar
The president of International Business Forum of Bangladesh (IBFB) and the chief executive officer (CEO) of Energypac Power Generation Ltd. Humayun Rashid has expressed profound shock and sorrow at the sudden demise of freedom fighter Md. Omar Shafayat Kausar, immediate former vice president of IBFB, said a press release on Sunday from Energypac Power Generation Ltd..
Md. Omar Shafayat was the chairman of Bengal Bay Group and Bengal Bay Agencies and the former district governor of Lions Club International.
He was the eldest of eight brothers and sisters. He left behind three daughters, five grandchildren and numerous admirers to mourn his death. Omar Shafayat breathed his last at united hospital on 20 August at 1.30 am.
