Chevron extends COVID-19 relief support to students of nine Dhaka schools

Chevron Bangladesh has recently handed more than 300 packs of food and hygiene supplies to the students of nine Kushum Koli schools of Dhaka, says a press release.

The press statement on Tuesday also said the Kushum Koli institution is a network of charity schools run by the social welfare committee of the Dhaka Ladies Club.

During the event, Ismail Chowdhury, Chevron’s Bangladesh corporate affairs director, who handed over the supplies at an event held at the club premises, and Fyzunnessa Muna, social welfare secretary of Dhaka Ladies Club among others were present.

According to the release, Chevron Bangladesh Chevron operates and holds a 100 per cent interest in two onshore PSCs in Bangladesh covering Block 12 (Bibiyana field) and Blocks 13 and 14 (Jalalabad and Moulavi Bazar fields).
