NRB Islamic Life Insurance premiums can be paid through Nagad

Customers of NRB Islamic Life Insurance will now be able to pay their life insurance premiums through Nagad, UNB reports.

Mobile financial service provider Nagad and life insurance company NRB Islamic Life Insurance signed an agreement recently.

Under the deal, customers of Nagad and NRB Islamic Life Insurance can now pay their life insurance policy premiums using the Nagad app or USSD (* 167 #).

Sheikh Aminur Rahman, chief marketing officer of Nagad, said: “For the last three years, Nagad has been operating Islamic accounts to make people’s daily transactions easier and more economical in the Islamic way of life.”

“Customers will now be able to pay NRB Islamic Life Insurance premiums through Nagad as a continuation of that.”
