PRAN gets $5.2m export orders from Germany fair

PRAN has bagged $5.2 million worth of export orders at Anuga-2019, one of the largest food and beverage exhibitions in the world, says a press release.

Some 7,590 companies from 100 countries participated in the fair held at Koelnmesse Exhibition Center in Germany’s Cologne.

The five-day fair began on 5 October.

Mentioning that PRAN received good response from the buyers, chief operating officer at PRAN Export, Mizanur Rahman, said that the group displayed over 500 products including 30 new products in its two stalls this year.

Confectionary, juice and bakery items were the centre of attraction among the buyers, according to the press release. 

Mizanur Rahman also said that Anuga Fair is one of the largest food and beverage fairs in the world.

Marketing director of PRAN-RFL Group Kamruzzaman Kamal said, “The main purpose of participating at the exhibition is to expand the export market. We want to market our products around the world. Anuga Fair is a big platform in this regard.”

He said that they wanted to increase number of PRAN products in the famous chain shops across Europe.

Currently PRAN Group is exporting its product to 141 countries across the globe. PRAN-RFL Group received export trophy for consecutive 16 times for its contribution in export sector, says the press release.
