Dhaka International Trade Fair starts 9 Jan

The month-long Dhaka International Trade Fair (DITF) will begin from 9 January instead of 1 January due to upcoming parliamentary elections.

Talking to BSS, Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) director generalAvijitChowdhury said that the trade fair will not start from 1 January as the national election will be held on 30 December.

The trade fair will continue till 8 February, he added.

He said the EPB has already received a total of 43 applications from the interested foreign participants in the fair.
