3 Shakib-Apu films to hit cinemas

Three films cast by popular on-screen couple of Dhaka films Shakib Khan and Apu Bishwas are going to hit the cinemas on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha.

The films are Wazed Ali Shuman's "Hitman", Nazrul Islam Khan's "Kothin Pratishodh", and "Shera Nayak" directed by Wakil Ahmed. 

Shakib Khan is excited as three of his films are set to release in this Eid.

He said, "The audiences visit cinemas during Eid, more than other times of the year. So, Eid is a chance to go nearer to the audiences."

Apu Biswas said, "Eid is the biggest festival.  I am feeling so good that three films are releasing together on the occasion of this largest festival. The songs, locations and story lines of the films are different."

The duo is now performing at a programme organised by Bangladeshi migrants in Qatar.

Apart from them, James, Kanakchapa, Monir Khan, Nirjhar, Konal, Nadia and Likhan are also taking part in the programme.

Ashiqur Rahman's film "Kistimat", stars Arifin Shubha and Anchal, will also release in this Eid.
