Airin busy promoting 'U-Turn'

Model-turned actress Airin is now busy promoting her just-released film U-Turn. Prothom Alo caught up with the young actress to talk about Alvi Ahmed’s directorial debut U-Turn and her other projects.

Your second film, U-Turn saw its countrywide release Friday. Are you busy promoting it?

Yes. We, crew and cast of the film, have been visiting cinema halls and attending promotional events for satellite channels, too. We have already visited Sony, Asia, Balaka and Blockbuster cinema halls and interacted with the film-lovers.

Tell us about your role in the film.

The role I am playing in the film has a twist in the climax. The viewers, I guess, will enjoy watching me in the movie.

Your first film Valobasha Zindabad was released in 2013 and now U-Turn after two years. Why did you take such a long gap?

I have been working regularly after my first film. Some of my films are done but yet to be released. Production houses may release them as per their convenience.

Tell us about your films that are awaiting release.

I have already completed two films of Saif Chandan including Chheleti Abol Tabol Meyeti Pagol Pagol and Target and Gaziur Rahman's Ei Tumi Shei Tumi. Moreover, SA Haque Alik's Ek Prithibi Prem and Shusmoy Suman's Tomake Hebbi Lagchhey are getting their finishing touches.
