Akon hopes to do something for Bangladeshi listeners

American singer Akon on Wednesday in an exclusive interview with Prothom Alo at a five star hotel in Dhaka said that he wanted to do something for the listeners of Bangladesh.

He said that he wanted to launch a musical album for the Bangladeshi listeners. He hopes that after launching that album listeners will enjoy his music more.  

Akon is scheduled to perform on Thursday at Bangabandhu National Stadium in ICC T-20i world cup celebration concert organised by BCB.

Musician Akon came to the limelight of global music with his R&B and hip-hop music. He is a singer, a songwriter and a producer at the same time. He is also popular among the African dominant celebrities.

His songs were listed as " Billboard Hot Hundred" for thirty five times. Akon was nominated five times for the Grammy Award.
