Anupam Roy's Bangladeshi girl
'Aynabaji' actress Masuma Nabila will be seen in a new music video 'Bangladesher Meye' with popular Indian singer Anupam Roy.
Nabila will appear as the Bangladeshi girl in the video.
The singer himself penned lyrics and composed the music for the song. Shahriar Palak made the music video, sponsored by eTunes Entertainment.
Nabila said they shot the music video a few days back. She has posted the preview of the music video on Facebook on Sunday.
The preview shows Anupam addressing Nabila as "Ogo Bangladesher Meye" (Oh girl of Bangladesh).
"It's a beautiful song. The location and set was beautiful too. And I’ve always been a big-time fan of Anupam Roy. In fact I agreed to work in the video because of him," Nabila said.
But the actress expressed her unwillingness to work in any more music videos because she feels that would eclipse her identity as an actress.
"After all I am not a music video model," she said.
Nabila was a model and TV host earlier. She gained fame after her debut film 'Aynabaji' released last year. She is known to be selective in accepting roles for dramas and movies.
She recently worked in a TV play 'Shangshar' aired on the Valentine's Day.
