Apu Biswas all set for comeback
Apu Biswas is all set for a comeback. After a long break from films, she is now working on losing weight she had gained during pregnancy before going back in front of the camera.
Apu had earlier annlounced that she would be quitting cinema, but now she wants to get back to work in the next couple of months.
Apu said she might not be able to work in Kangal but she would act in the other movie, Kanagali.
"I put on weight after pregnancy. I have already lost some and am working out in the gym to lose more," the actress said.
Apu said she would not be able to shoot any film in January due to upheavals in her private life.
The actress said, "Everyone knows what is going on in my life. I just need some time to settle down. I requested the director to postpone the shooting for two months".
Robin Khan, the director of the film said, the film has been rescheduled for March.
Apu will pair up with Bappy Chowdhury in Kanagali.
Recently, the actress has received divorce notice from her estranged husband actor Shakib Khan. The duo has been summoned to the family court of Dhaka North City Corporation zone-3.
When asked if she is going to appear in the family court on 15 January, the actress said, "I will let you know in due time".
