Aupee Karim reappears in a new web-series

Actress Aupee Karim will appear once again on screen after a long break, with a web-series titled 'Dhaka Metro Ga-9106'.

Aupee Karim's last TV play 'Khutinati Khunshuti' directed by Ashfaq Nipun was aired one and a half years ago. The play was directed by Ashfaq Nipun.

The first season of the series 'Dhaka Metro Ga-9106' has been filmed in different locations of Dinajpur, Gaibandha and Bogra.

Popular director Amitabh Reza has directed the series and Nasif Amin wrote the script.

The storyline is based on the journeys of three people. One of them is Jaigoon, sometimes Jaba, played by Aupee Karim. Nivel will be seen as Abdul Kuddus and Shariful Islam as Rahman in the series.

Aupee Karim said, "I never wanted to work just for the sake of work. I rejected many offers as I did not like the stories."

"My role in the new series reflects the common women's lifestyle of our society. The character is a bold one" Aupee added.

When asked if she would be working regularly, Aupee answered," I am working as an assistant professor at a private university. I have my own architecture firm as well. Apart from all these, I would like to work with good directors and good stories sometimes".

On the other hand, director Amitabh Reza said, the first season of the series has been shot in different roads of North Bengal.

"We enjoyed working in midst of the scenic beauty and among so many good people", he further said.

According to the director, the web-series will be aired on a new web-channel in March this year. The channel will start broadcasting for first time.
