Ayub Bachchu’s first death anniversary today

The first death anniversary of legendary singer, guitarist, songwriter and musician Ayub Bachchu will be observed on Friday.

Different cultural organisations, television channels, radio stations and fan communities of this legendary rockstar have chalked out elaborate programmes to pay tributes to him, reports UNB.

A milad mahfil and discussion will be held at a community hall in Moghbazar of the city which will be joined by his friends and family members along with his contemporary artistes.

Chittagong Musical Band Association (CMBA), founded by Ayub Bachchu, is arranging a seminar at Chattogram Press Club.

On 18 October 2018, legendary Bangladeshi singer, guitarist and songwriter Ayub Bachchu breathed his last in Dhaka.

His relatives then said he had suffered a cardiac arrest at his Dhanmondi residence in the morning.

The singer was then taken to Square Hospitals where physicians declared him dead around 9:55am.

Ayub Bachchu was founder and frontman of popular music band LRB (Love Runs Blind).
