Cricketer Warne ‘hits’ female porn star

Australian cricket legend Shane Warne hit a porn star in the face during a row inside a London night club, reports The Daily Mail.

Valerie Fox reportedly tweeted photos showing the bruises and injuries she allegedly sustained at the hands of Warne during the attack at Loulou’s, a lavish bar in Mayfair, this week.

After complaining to police, the 30-year-old glamour model shared images of her alleged injuries, posting on the social site: ‘Proud of yourself? Hitting a woman? Vile creature.’

Witnesses inside the nightclub told The Sun they saw Warne arguing with Valerie Fox on Friday night, before she fell to the floor holding her face.

Police are investigating the incident and looking for CCTV footage of the alleged assault.

The glamour model tweeted on Saturday: ‘And no, I’m not lying. Just because you’re famous doesn’t mean you can hit women and get away with it.’

She also shared a photo of a Metropolitan Police incident card showed she’d visited Westminster police station and saying: ‘The crime we will investigate is assault.’

In a statement, Metropolitan Police said: ‘Detectives are investigating an allegation of assault alleged to have taken place in a nightclub on Hertford Street in Westminster in the early hours of Saturday.’

‘There have been no arrests and inquiries continue.’

Warne’s spokesman declined to comment on the incident, according to the British newspaper.
