Doob promotion on campuses begins

The official promotional campaign titled ‘Doob Goes to Campus Campaign’ of film ‘Doob’ will kick off on Saturday with Notre Dame College.

The production house, Jazz Multimedia, revealed this on Friday on its official Facebook page.

It said, ‘The film’s casts, crew, and Chirkut will pay a visit on the campus of the college at 2:00pm on Saturday as part of the promotional activities.”

Filmmaker Mostofa Sarwar Farooki’s much-talked-about film ‘Doob’ (No Bed of Roses) will be released on 27 October in Bangladesh and India together.

Indian actor Irrfan Khan will visit Dhaka on 25 October as part of the campaign.

The film will be released in 100 cinemas in Bangladesh and 200 cinemas in India.

Irrfan Khan will be seen to share the screen with noted Bangladeshi actress Nusrat Imrose Tisha while Rokeya Prachy and Parno Mittra later joined the film in a supporting role.

The film was written and directed by Mostofa Sarwar Farooki while it was produced by Himanshu Dhanuka, Abdul Aziz and Irrfan Khan under the banner of Eskay Movies and Jaaz Multimedia along with Irrfan Khan Films.

The film bagged an independent jury award at the 39th Moscow International Film Festival while it was nominated for the Golden Goblet Awards in Shanghai International Film Festival.
