Some Dhallywood actresses stay in public eye more due to their controversies than their acting. Their personal lives generate public interest, rather than their professional performances. Pori Moni, Nusrat Faria, Mahia Mahi and Apu Biswas are the most controversial actresses of present times. 

Pori Moni is one of the most controversial actors of Dhallywood. Her recent Facebook cover photo is of herself with an unnamed person, sparking off a volley of speculations. She had also posted a photo of herself with a wedding ring. While asked if this was her strategy to be in the limelight, she answered, “I don’t pay too much attention to whether people are talking about my Facebook postings or not. I’ve only shared my feelings with my friends and fans”.

On asking those controversial talks are surpassing even the talks of her acting skills, she said, “I became what I am today because of all the talks about me, that is why fans have so much interest about my personal life.”

Nusrat Faria is still young in Dhallywood. She has acted only in three films since her debut. But she had also sparked controversy with a video of her working out at the gym. “I posted that video to inspire others to work out and stay fit, and interests about movie stars is a very common thing,” she said.

Mahia Mahi had been in controversy last year for quite a long period. She left a big production house. When she got married, a rumour popped up that she had been secretly married before. She said, “That was when things got real messy in my marriage, but I had not stirred up the controversies myself.”

“And about those photos that I posted, I had never thought those would go viral on the social media, and I had no intention to create controversies.”

Popular Dhalywood actress Apu Biswas simply disappeared from the industry all of a sudden, giving rise to controversies about herself.
