Tell us something about ‘House 44’
I played a character Moha in the serial who is a girl full of life. Added bonus, I get to meet my favourite actress Aparna Ghosh while shooting for the serial.
What is your take on your own performance?
I feel strange about my performance. Most of the time, I feel whether the girl on the screen is me or not. I usually do not want to watch my performances on screen.
What is your family’s take on your works?
My siblings are very rigid criticizers. My mother follows the constructive way to criticise. My father did not say anything but I assume he likes my works.
Once you said your mother wanted you to be an actress. Did you want the same?
My mother was a dancer. She wanted to see herself on the screen. She could not make her dream come true though. This is why my mother wanted me to be an actress. I wanted to become a doctor actually.
What keeps you busy these days?
Right now, I am busy shooting Sayed Shakil’s ‘Ulto Srot’, Hasan Morshed’s ‘Adarshalipi’ and Imraul Rafat’s ‘Calling Bell’.
