I'm not a crybaby, it's just my role: Mehazabien

Popular actress and model Mehazabien Chowdhury rose to prominence through her diverse acting skills and glamour since she embarked on her career in the industry. She has become one of the busiest actresses on the small screen lately.

Mehazabien was bombarded with TV dramas and YouTube plays for the coming Eid-ul-Azha. Unlike other actresses, she will not be shooting for the dramas till ‘chand rat’ (the eve of Eid). She did not sign any new schedule after 10 August.

The actress recently talked to Prothom Alo about her career, Eid vacation, plans and more.

Let’s see what she said:

Prothom Alo: How many dramas have you done for Eid-ul-Azha?

Mehazabien: More than 20. All the storylines of the dramas are pretty good. Some of them have very different stories. I hope the audience will enjoy my new roles in these plays.

Prothom Alo: Will you watch your plays when aired?

Mehazabien: I took leave from work for a week after Eid. I watch my own plays every Eid along with other plays too. I may not be able to see all my plays, but I will try to watch some of them.

Prothom Alo: Do you think more views means good work?

Mehazabien: Not really. In many cases, the audience like one or two scenes of a play and throng the YouTube channel to watch the drama. Eventually the views increase. That does not necessarily mean that it is the best drama.

Prothom Alo: Why did you stop taking shooting schedules after 10 August?

Mehazabien: I wish to spend the day before Eid with my family. I will go shopping. It’s difficult to do all this between work.

Prothom Alo: Will you sacrifice any animal this Eid?

Mehazabien: Yes. I have been sacrificing animals every Eid for 6 to 7 years.

Prothom Alo: If it is not acting, what else will you do?

Mehazabien: I will write scripts for dramas, I guess.

Prothom Alo: Why do you play a crybaby always?

Mehazabien: I am not a crybaby, it’s my role in the dramas.

Prothom Alo: Who are you most comfortable with, Tahsan, Nisho or Apurba?

Mehazabien: I believe, I am more comfortable with Apurba and Nisho as I work with them a lot.
