I’ve come to Dhaka for my fans: Jeet
Indian Bengali actor Jeetendra Madnani, who is popularly called Jeet from the cinema marketplace, is now in the city for the promotion of his India-Bangla joint venture film ‘Badshah - The Don’.
As a part of the promotional activities, Jeet and Bangladeshi actress Nusrat Faria joined a press conference organised by Jaaz Multimedia at Samson Hall of Dhaka Club and took part in an iftar party on Wednesday, reports UNB news agency.
Jeet said, “I’ve come to Dhaka for my fans. I’m informed through many ways about the love of Bangladeshi audience for me. This joint venture work will play a different role in enriching the film industry of the two countries.”
Jeet as Badsha and Nusrat Faria as Sreya played the lead role in the movie directed by Baba Yadav and produced by Eskay Movies and Jaaz Multimedia.
The premier of the movie was held in Kolkata in February last. It is a remake of the 2010 Telugu movie Don Seenu, which starred Ravi Teja.
Jeet will fly for India on Thursday. The movie will be released ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr.
