Kathak dance programme in Dhaka Monday

A Kathak dance programme will be held at the Bangladesh National Museum in the capital's Shahbagh on Monday.

The show will feature noted Kathak dance exponent Munmun Ahmed and students of Indira Gandhi Cultural Centre.

The high commission of India in Dhaka is organising the programme, said a press release.

Munmun Ahmed, who teaches Kathak dance at the Indira Gandhi Cultural Centre, has conducted a six-month course of Kathak dance, from July to December 2017, at the high commission premises.

The dance programme will be followed by awarding of certificates to Kathak dance students by cultural affairs minister Asaduzzaman Noor and Indian high commissioner to Dhaka Harsh Vardhan Shringla.
