Mila ties the knot with long-term beau

Mila, who received fame for her unique voice and style, tied the knot with her long-term beau Parvez Sanjari on Friday at her residence.  

"Initially we decided to get engaged but our families wanted us to get married. We did so," said Mila.

Mila and Parvez were dating for the last 10 years.

"We met in the social networking site, hi5. I took the first step to start a conversation. I don't really believe in developing relationships online. However, it happened to me, “said Mila.  

Mila's father lieutenant colonel Shahidul Islam was a pilot.

Mila's husband is a pilot too.

She put this happy coincidence in this way, "A women wants her husband to be exactly like her father because a father is always her first hero. This is why, I was drawn to my pilot friend." 

A reception ceremony for the newlywed couple will be held in two months.
