Dhallywood hit maker Bidya Sinha Saha Mim said no to Vishesh Films, an Indian film producing company, owned by filmmaker brothers Mahesh Bhatt and Mukesh Bhatt.

In a tete-a-tete with Prothom Alo, Mim said Vishesh Films offered her a role for their upcoming Bollywood movie but she had to turn it down as they applied several conditions. The former Lux Superstar said she would have to do some intimate scenes for the movie which conflicts with her ideology.
Vishesh Films sent her an email on 24 November, asking Mim’s opinion about their offer.

Mim said, "I am an artiste. My job is to perfome, be it at home or be it in a foreign film. But that does not mean I would do anything to get a role in a foreign film. They told me that I have to do some intimate scenes for the movie. And I am not the only heroine in that movie. I feel honoured to get an offer from Vishesh Films but I had to say no. This is not possible for me to devalue my culture by doing such scenes.”

Mim added, "I discussed it with my close ones. They too discouraged me to accept the offer. I have got immense support and love from my fans after I have entered this showbiz world. I do not want to do anything to hurt their feelings.’

Mim’s career has branched out to neighbouring Kolkata as well. Today (Friday), Raja Chanda’s film Black has been released in the movie theatres of Kolkata. West Bengal star Sohom has paired up with Mim in the movie.
