Mosharraf, Nipun to feature in Oggatonama

Popular actor Mosharraf Karim will star in Tauqir Ahmed's next film Oggatonama.
"We have been working together for a long time. It will be my fourth work with Tauqir Bhai. One thing I can tell my fans about the film -- its storyline is extra-ordinary," Mosharraf told Prothom Alo.
Tauqir, the director of the film, who has scripted the movie from his own book, said the cast of the film had already been finalised.
The cast includes Mosharraf Karim, Nipun, Shahiduzzaman Selim, Shatabdi Wadud, Abul Hayat and Fazlur Rahman Babu, among others.

Tauquir told Prothom Alo the shooting of the film will begin on May 25 at Pangsha in Rajbari.

The story will tap into the pulse of the expatriate people, particularly those who live and work in the Middle East, he added.

Coming to the limelight first as an actor, Tauquir made his first film Joyjatra – a touching tale set against the backdrop of the Liberation War – in 2004. He then returned to make Rupkothar Golpo in 2006, and Daruchini Dwip in 2007.
