Old Porshi, new role

Popular singer Porshi took up a new role on Saturday as she shot her first scene for the silver screen.
Director Shamim Ahmed Rony has roped in the singer for his movie Mental, also starring Shakib Khan and Tisha.
"I was nervous before the shoot as it is my first time for a movie. However, things got comfortable shortly as I knew the camera crew beforehand.”
She said only one of her scenes in the movie has been shot while the rest will be done from 14 December. 
The filmmaker himself praised the singer-turned-actress. “Porshi performed like a professional actress and it never seemed to me that this is her first shoot for any film,” said Rony.
