"Initially, I planned a stage adaptation of my book Agyatonama, but later decided to make it a movie. The screenplay has already been completed," said the actor.

The movie will focus on the life of Bangladeshi expatriates in the Middle East, Tauquir said, but he chose not to reveal the names of the casts.

"Let's save a few things for a surprise," he said.

Tauquir already has another directorial project lined up. "We have applied for government funds for this movie. If we get it, we will be able to start filming of the movie by the end of the year," he added.

Taukir made his directorial debut in 2004 with the critically acclaimed Joyjatra. His other directorial projects are - Rupkothar Golpo (2006) and Daruchini Dwip (2007).
