Rezwana Choudhury Bannya catches coronavirus
Renowned Rabindra Sangeet singer Rezwana Choudhury Bannya has tested positive for COVID-19, reports UNB.
She herself disclosed this saying she tested positive for the virus two weeks ago and has been taking proper medication and treatment at home.
"Two weeks ago, I tested positive for COVID-19. Now I am doing well. I've been home since the report was received. I may test again on Tuesday and hopefully, the result will come out negative this time," Bannya told UNB.
A graduate from Visva-Bharati University, Bannya is currently serving as professor and founding chair of the dance department at Dhaka University. Earlier, she was a faculty at the music department of the same university.
