Apu wants to turn around

Actress Apu Biswas went ‘missing’ from the film shooting of ‘Raajniti’. She also signed for the movie ‘Bossgiri’.

She however did not even start the film shoot. ‘Where is Apu?’, her fans asked again and again.
Her fans soon got the long awaited answer.
Apu said in a live interview in April that she gave birth to her son Abram Khan Joy in a Kolkata hospital in September last year.

On Monday, Apu’s  facebook status said the actress is preparing herself to return to the movies after keeping away from the limelight for a long time.

In her status, Apu Biswas said, “So much has happened in my life in these years that it is not even possible to express in writing. I’ve seen a lot of things, learned a lot of things. I’ve fallen down a lot of times and also stood up again.

 I’ve learned from life, witnessed brutality from my near and dear ones. I want to come back and make a fresh start for my fans and well wishers. I want to do something for my son.”

The status also said, “I want to return once more with the love of my fans. I am preparing to return to the screen after giving time to my son. That is why it is taking more time than usual. But I promise that I will return. Hope you (fans) will be by my side. Thanks and love for all.”

Apu’s latest film ‘Raajniti’ will be released on the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr. Bulbul Biswas directed the film. She is acting opposite Shakib Khan in the film.

The official teaser of the film, along with the audio and video songs and international distribution, was announced at a Dhaka Club program last Wednesday where Apu made a public appearance after a long interval.
