Shakib Khan’s new venture ‘Naqaab’ will be released in Bangladesh as an imported movie under the film exchange programme.

The film directed by Rajib Bishwas will be imported in exchange of exporting Dhallywood film ‘Pashan’ directed by Saikat Nasir.

‘Naqaab’ is scheduled to be released commercially in both India and Bangladesh on 14 September.

“We decided to release the film in both countries simultaneously to avoid any chance of piracy,” said Abdul Aziz Jaaz, the chairman of the film’s importer Jaaz multimedia.

Abdul Aziz also said that ‘Naqaab’s production house Shree Venkatesh Films agreed to release the film on same date in India.

Jaaz Multimedia already applied to the information ministry seeking permission to import the film.

“We are expecting to import the film on 7 September and submit for sensor board clearance on 11 or 12 September,” said the chairman of Jaaz Multimedia.

Jaaz Multimedia, on the contrary, will export one of their ventures ‘Pashan’ to India.

However, the poster, teaser, songs and trailer have already been released on SVF’s official Facebook page and YouTube channel.

Dhallywood pataka (bombshell) Nusrat Faria  and Tollywood’s Sayantika will be seen opposite Shakib Khan in ‘Naqaab’.
