Bhabna, known for her versatile acting, has recently started working in a television series, ‘Boka Bhoot’, which will be aired on Deepto TV soon. She will also be seen in two TV plays based on Language Movement and Valentine’s Day in February. In a recent conversation with Prothom Alo, Ashna Habib Bhabna opened up more about her future plans and relationship and marriage with filmmaker Animesh Aich.

The excerpt of the interview is as follows:

Prothom Alo: Hello, what’s going on?

Ashna Habib Bhabna: Nothing. Just woke up. I slept late today.
Prothom Alo: Why late?

Bhabna: I went to watch a play ‘Jalbasar’ with my friends and colleagues. We went for dinner and then for coffee together. It was late at 3:00am when I returned home.

Prothom Alo: What will you do today?

Bhabna: I'll go for shopping with Animesh and finish some works in Bank.

Prothom Alo: Apart from acting what else you have done for ‘Boka Bhoot’?

Bhabna: I believe I'm very good in casting. I selected a few actors in the play 'Boka Bhoot' which is mainly a family drama.

Prothom Alo: Let me ask something about your private life now. Why did you announce your relationship with Animesh Aich on Facebook suddenly?

Bhabna: I didn’t make any announcement. I just updated the relationship criterion. Only my friends connected on Facebook could see that. I never played any hide and seek about my relationship. I believe hiding my relationship with someone disrespects him.

Few news media houses recently published a number of objectionable stories about my personal life that hurt me a lot. To me, love is a divine thing.

Prothom Alo: Are you going to be married this year?

Bhabna: We'll definitely tie the knot. But, we don’t know when. We didn’t think of that yet. What I know is Animesh will make a film this year.

Prothom Alo: You must be the female lead….

Bhabna: I don’t know yet. (Laughs)

Prothom Alo: What are your current ventures now?

Bhabna: I'm writing a novel for the upcoming book fair. Apart from the two plays on Valentine’s Day and International Mother Language Day, I will be soon working on another TV series. I'll resume my studies and I'm a bit busy with that, too.

Prothom Alo: It's time for city corporation polls. What is your expectation to a new mayor?

Bhabna: A clean city. We never throw trash on the street when we travel abroad. But we do that regularly in our own country. That is sad. This will never stop until we consider the country as our own house.
