Kathmandu Airport cancels all flights

All flights in and out of Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) in Nepal Kathmandu, have been cancelled following a Bangladeshi airliner carrying 67 passengers crashed near Nepal's Tribhuban International Airport on Monday afternoon, reports Kathmandu Post.

All scheduled flights from the airport have been halted while incoming flights have been diverted to other destinations, Kathmandu TIA sources said.

The Bombardier Dash 8 aircraft caught fire after it careened off the runway during landing and crashed onto a football ground near TIA.
