Bangladeshi students in Poland celebrates Bangla New Year

Bangladeshi students in Poland celebrated Bangla New year 1425 by discussions and cultural programmes.

Bangladesh ambassador to Poland Mahfuzur Rahman, Vistula University rector Jolanta Zysko, and consul of Bangladesh Embassy Omar Faruque joined the cultural programme. 

A large number of expatriate Bangladeshis and citizens of different countries have joined the cultural programs moderated by Tarek Aziz and Rose Hassan.

The program started with the national anthem of Bangladesh and Poland. A video clip was played to have a quick glimpse on Bangladesh and Pohela Boishakh.

 At the programme, a little girl Deepika danced with the Baisakhi song ‘ailo ailo boisakh’. Anika and Ashok recited the poems of Joy Goswami's ‘megh balikar rupkatha’ and Nazrul’s ‘kandari hushiar’ respectively.

Taniya Afreen performed beautiful dance with the song ‘Pindare polasher bon’. Ashok Sen and a group of students sang the song of  Shah Abdul Karim ‘age ki sundor din kataitam’. Ukranian girl Mili  danced with the song ‘komola sundori’.

Girls of different nationalities showed how differently women can ware saree.  Taniya Afreen  and Sakin Wahab was praised for their beautiful dance choreography and beautiful artworks respectively.
