Deserted Dhaka

Bangladesh has slapped restriction on public movement declaring general holiday between 26 March and 4 April in the first phase, which has already been extended to 11 April, to contain the spread of novel coronavirus infection in the country. Dhaka city, one of the most populous metropolitan areas of the world, has worn a deserted look as people either left the city in droves or had been staying at home since the coronavirus holiday. Abdus Salam captures these aerial images of different parts of the capital on Wednesday.
