Airtel offers roaming facilities for hajj pilgrims

Airtel Bangladesh has announced a special hajj roaming offer for Bangladeshi pilgrims.

By availing Airtel’s offer, the Bangladeshi hajj pilgrims will be able to enjoy a special international roaming call rates from Bangladesh to Saudi Arabia.

Every year, more than 100,000 Bangladeshis perform hajj, the most sacred journey of a Muslim to Mecca. Like previous years, Airtel has come up with the most affordable rates in the market with a view to being the trusted partner for the hajj pilgrims during their holy, religious journey.

The economic hajj roaming offer allows the pilgrims to enjoy Tk 14/min for outgoing calls made to Saudi Arabian numbers and Bangladeshi numbers while roaming.

Incoming call rate will be Tk 16/min flat. Hence, roamers can enjoy up to 93 percent discount in terms of call rate. SMS sending charge will be Tk 5 which is 85 percent lower than normal rate.

In addition to having the most economic call and SMS rates, Airtel is also offering very affordable data rates, which is only 10 paisa/kb.

Also, pilgrims can enjoy upto 50 percent discount on international roaming security deposit.

This offer will be applicable for any international credit/debit card and will be valid during the hajj of 2015 only.
