Bangladesh-Afghan ODI ticket sales kick off

The ticket sale for the three-match Bangladesh-Afghanistan ODI series started on Thursday afternoon on online marketplace ‘shohoz.com’.
This is the first time cricket fans can collect their tickets online instead of going to the bank as the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has declared ‘shohoz.com’ as their new ticketing partner.
Ticket prices will range from Tk 100 to 1000: Grand stand north or south: Tk 1000, VIP stand: Tk 500, Shaheed Mustaque or Jewel Stand: Tk 300, North or South stand Tk 150 and Eastern Stand at Tk 100.
Bangladesh will play the day-night ODI series against visiting Afghanistan, their first-ever bilateral cricket series, at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium on 25, 28 September and 1 October. All the matches are scheduled to start at 2:30pm.
The online marketplace ‘shohoz.com’ was declared as the right holders of ticket selling by BCB at a press conference at SBNCS on Thursday-noon.
Maliha Kadir, CEO of ‘shohoz.com’, said that one can get three tickets through online payment(credit card/mobile banking) by using one phone number, but will need to go to the pickup point (what he/she selected from seven designated outlets during confirmation) with the NID and the same phone number to collect the tickets.
Besides, tickets will be available from the morning on the match day at SBNCS.
