Bangladesh on Thursday beat neighbours India 4-2 on penalties to reach the final of the six-nation SAFF U-15 Championship.

India had taken an early lead in the 17th minute when Patre Harsh Shailesh scored from about 35 yards, reports UNB.

Bangladesh were looking all set to for an exit, but the tournament's leading scorer Nihad Jaman Ucchash scored the equaliser in the third minute of the stoppage time from a penalty.

It was his fifth strike of the tournament.

In Saturday's final, Bangladesh will play the winners of Pakistan and Nepal, who play the second semifinal later on Thursday.
