Kohli gets marriage proposal from English cricketer

Indian cricketer Virat Kohli got a marriage proposal from England women's cricketer Danielle Wyatt on Twitter, soon after taking India into the final of the ICC World Twenty20 tournament, reports NDTV.

Previous year Team India batsman Virat Kohli was dating Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma. There is a new 'twist' to the tale, however, after Kohli's 72-run knock against South Africa took India to the final of the ICC World Twenty20 tournament where they face Sri Lanka on Sunday. English cricketer Danielle Wyatt has added more 'spice' to Virat's love life by asking him to marry her on Twitter.

Wyatt, who has made both her T20I and ODI debuts against the Indian women's team and will turn 23 later this year, tweeted "Kholi marry me" soon after India's semifinal match against South Africa, immediately drawing a string of interesting responses.

Although there was a clear spelling error made in Kohli's name by Wyatt, fans on the social media site immediately volunteered to inform her that the young cricketer was "taken" by the Bollywood actress.

Wyatt, however, was unwilling to take a no for an answer and replied, "Nah he ain't".
