Kagawa left out on the wing

Jurgen Klopp says his former Dortmund charge Shinji Kagawa is being wasted at Manchester United, and not only since he fell from favour with David Moyes.

His goals, vision, movement and defense-breaking passes helped Dortmund win Bundesliga titles in 2011 and 2012, and in his first season in England he won the Premier League with United.

But with the Red Devils on dreadful form and his talents out of favour, Kagawa will be desperate to prove himself with Japan this summer at his first World Cup.

At 21 he missed the cut for the 2010 World Cup, and now 2014 could be frustrating too as the central attacking midfield position is taken by Keisuke Honda, forcing Kagawa to play on the left wing.
