It was one of the most dramatic victories for Bangladesh when they edged Sri Lanka by two wickets on Friday, but it could have been a story to forget.

The winners required 12 from the last over and bowler Isuru Udana hurled two bouncers in the first two deliveries. The batting side believed at least one of them could have been called a 'no ball', but the umpires remained unmoved.

Bangladesh skipper Shakib Al Hasan was furious, even asking his batsmen to leave the field. Thankfully for the Tigers, the team management intervened and Mahmudullah had his shot at glory.

The unfazed batsman blasted a four in the third ball of the over, took a double in the next and then fired a six over backward square leg to send the Tigers to the final.

After the match, Shakib did admit that he lost his cool. "Emotions take over, I need to be careful as a leader of a team, I will be careful next time," espncricinfo quoted him as saying.

Tamim Iqbal was also on the same page with his captain, "Very emotional finish, we saw the leg umpire signal a no-ball, we were complaining about the no-ball. We could have done it nicely. We won't create anything bad about this incident. I did a good job, but if I could have continued a but longer, but we won so all forgotten."
