Cricketer Nazmul ties the knot

The fans of Bangladesh cricket came to know about the second marriage of cricketer Mosaddek Hossain a few days back. On Tuesday, another national cricketer, Nazmul Hossain Shanto, revealed that he has also tied the knot.

Nazmul has been in Rajshahi since the beginning of the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic. Speaking to Prothom Alo over phone, he said, "We got married on 11 July (Saturday). Please pray for us."

Nazmul's wife Sabrin Sultana Ratna is a third year student of Rajshahi University's Statistics department. The cricketer said they completed the formalities only in presence of close friends and family.

"We liked each other, but the family took the final decision. We will host a grand reception when things get better," Nazmul added.
