Spinner Rakibul Hasan grabbed four wickets, including a hattrick, to lead Bangladesh to an easy seven-wicket victory over Scotland in their Under-19 World Cup match at Potchefstroom on Tuesday.

Rakibul's four-for and braces from Shoriful Islam and Tanzim Hasan Sakib bundled the Scots out for just 89, in 30.3 overs.

Barring Uzzair Shah (27), Angus Guy (11) and Jamie Cairns (17), none other Scotland batsmen could reach double figures.

Rakibul bagged his hattrick in the 24th over when he bowled Kess Sajjad, trapped Lyle Robertson leg before and then bowled Charlie Peet in the third, fourth and fifth ball respectively.

Bangladesh also had a bumpy ride in their chase as Sean Fischer-Keogh hit thrice to leave them on 35 for 3, but Mahmudul Hasan Joy's 35-run innings made sure the Young Tigers win.

Opener Parvez Hossain Emon added 25 while Towhid Hridoy contributed 17.
