12th International Student Summit kicks off

Foreign students studying in various private and public university across Bangladesh will gather at the 12th International Student Summit-2019 to be held on 21 March at Professor Muzaffar Ahmed Chowdhury auditorium in Dhaka University.
As many as 3,000 students from 35 countries across the world are currently studying in Bangladesh. Runner Bangladesh Development Society and Federation of International Student Association jointly arranged the summit.
The students can register online to participate in the summit on the following website : events.runnerbangladesh.org.
Many delegates including the principal of Dhaka Medical College Hospital Khan Abul Kalam Azad and Turkish deputy head of mission in Bangladesh will be present at the event.
The purpose of this event is to gather a few talented minds from different cultures, races and ethnicities and to listen to their thoughts on Bangladesh’s education, culture, society, people, food and more.
Being less expensive, a number of universities provide quality education that attracts many foreign students .
According to the 2017 data of the University Grants Commission, there are 2438 foreign students in the country.
