DU suspends academic activities for indefinite period

The authorities of Dhaka University (DU) on Thursday suspended all classes and exams for an indefinite period due to the crisis created over coronavirus pandemic, reports UNB.

Notice will be issued at least three days ahead of resumption of the classes and exams, said a press release signed by DU public relations officer Mahmood Alam.

The administrative activities of the University will also remain suspended until 14 April in line with general holidays declared by the government, the release said.

Earlier the university authorities had suspended classes and exams from 18 March to 31 March which was later extended until 14 April.
