The examinations of Junior School Certificate (JSC) and Junior Dakhil Certificate (JDC) will not be held this year. Instead of examinations, students will be evaluated in their respective classes this year.

Education minister Dipu Moni came up with this announcement on Tuesday while briefing the newsmen at an event in Dhaka.

Dipu Moni said it seems that there is no scope to hold JSC examination separately this year. However, like other classes, eight graders will be assessed in their class.

When asked about the Primary Education Completion (PEC) examination, the minister said primary and mass education ministry will inform the matter.

However, perhaps they would also evaluate fifth graders in class, Dipu Moni added.
