Professor Mashiur appointed NU VC
Former professor of Dhaka University’s Sociology department Mashiur Rahman has been appointed the vice-chancellor of National University (NU) for next four years, reports UNB.
Professor Mashiur, who previously served as NU pro-VC, will replace the recent past VC professor Harun-or-Rashid who completed his second term on 5 March.
On Sunday, the education ministry issued a notification appointing him as NU VC.
