British Council in Bangladesh has launched IELTS prize for Bangladeshi students to facilitate their higher education abroad.
Students will receive Tk 359,017 as their university tuition fees if they win an annual competition organised by the council in Bangladesh.
In a press release issued on Tuesday, they said, they have created this prize to turn the dream of ambitious youths into reality providing them with financial assistance and the opportunity to pursue their undergraduate or postgraduate degrees in English-speaking universities worldwide.
This year’s competition is open to IELTS test-takers from ten countries around the world, including Bangladesh. Seven winners will be selected from each country through a competitive application process to receive the cash prize to support their studies.
